Ways to take part
Four vehicles, depending on what you want out of it.
01 — Restricted grant
Fund a named project
Money is ring-fenced to one programme, with an agreed milestone schedule and a written report at each one.
02 — Unrestricted gift
Fund the laboratory
The most useful money we receive. It covers the work between grants: maintenance, staff continuity and the experiments nobody would fund yet.
03 — Sponsored research
Bring us a problem
A defined piece of work for an organisation, with a scope agreed up front. Results are published unless there is a specific reason not to.
04 — Equipment & in-kind
Give us an instrument
Hardware, beam time, compute or materials. Often the fastest way to unblock a project that is otherwise ready to run.
