Overview

Project Halo is a compact, moderated source assembly designed around a single constraint: a team of four should be able to run a controlled irradiation campaign, start to finish, without booking time on a reactor floor.

The assembly pairs a low-yield source with a tuneable moderator stack and a shielded sample position. Everything that touches the neutron economy — geometry, materials, and the sample holder itself — is modelled first and then measured, so the spectrum at the sample is a number we can defend rather than a number we inherited.
